These soft beads are popular as shock absorbers on div tackle to protect knots when using sliding sinkers, booms, bombards and floats etc. Luminous beads are mainly used for div tackle and hooks to attract fish. The larger black sizes are often used directly on the braided line above the taf when sea fishing to prevent bait from catching or playing damaging the top loop when reeling in. Can also be used for ice pops.
