The Arxus Primo Nord Air is a boot that offers high comfort with a focus on minimizing condensation in the boot. The model is lined with two layers, where the first layer consists of a 1.8 mm thick layer of air cells and the second layer of 3 mm neoprene. This unique lining provides adequate thermal insulation and less condensation for the hunter looking for an all-round boot.
For an active hunter, condensation usually occurs during use, which at a later stage can cool the foot. The lining in Primo Nord Air gives the boot a form of "chimney effect", where the condensation passes through the air layer and out through the boot shaft. The technology reduces condensation up to approx. 40% compared to only neoprene lining, which in turn gives the boot a drier inside and counteracts the cold. The specially developed lining in combination with neoprene means that the boot can be used for most of the hunting season without feeling too cold or too hot. The rating for the boot is -15°C.
The boot has been fitted with a synthetic leather heel cap to increase wear resistance internally. The Arxus sole is built on six different technical layers and creates good walking comfort, the right support for the foot and a first-class grip on the surface through its unique "X" pattern.
The natural rubber in a Primo Nord Air is 2 mm thick, which is a prerequisite for durability and longevity. Primo Nord Air equipped with a Riri zipper along the boot shaft, which gives the wearer the opportunity to widen the shaft up to a maximum of 46 cm if necessary.
